2010 Port Douglas Carnivale: AME Bullride Spectacular

Its back, even bigger than last year. Australian Muster Experience stadium will again come alive when AME bring an night of EXTREME bullriding to 2010 Carnivale. The Douglas region will see some of the best bulls and riders in the country. Bullriders will compete over 2 rounds for prize money. At the completion of these 2 rounds the top 10 scoring riders will move into the Championship round where the winner will go home with the money. AME houses a fully licensed bar, meals and food will also be available for purchase. The music will rock into the night to complete a great evening. Gates open at 5pm, with limited tickets available at the gate. Parking is available with a gold coin donation to the SES.

When:

May 29th, 2010. 5 – 12 pm

Where:

The Australian Muster Experience, Kingston Road, Whyanbeel Valley via Mossman. Pre purchase your return coach transfers with Coral Reef Coaches on 40982800. Transfers depart Port Douglas at 5pm and return from AME at 10:30pm.

Self drive directions:
• From Port Douglas travel north to Mossman.
• Drive through the township of Mossman and continue north along Mossman- Daintree Road (Captain Cook Highway becomes Mossman-Daintree Road).
• Pass the Mossman Golf Course & Scommazon’s Fruit Farm as as you enter the 60km hour zone bear left here at (Miallo Motors) to Miallo/Whyanbeel.
• Follow this road past the Miallo State School and over the Leonardi Di Palma Bridge.
• At the Assman, Bamboo and Kingston Road junction, take Kingston Road and continue straight ahead.
• Follow this road up and around the bend and then turn right into Kingston Road then follow up to the Australian Muster Experience entrance gates. Veer to your right and follow the dirt track.

Ticketing:

$30 per adult, $15 per child (4- 14 ).
