Road Closure – 2010 Port Douglas Carnivale Street Parade

Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 6.00am Friday, May 21 2010 to 1.00am on Saturday, May 22 2010 between which roads will be closed.

• 6.00 am 21st of May, 2010 to 1.00 am 22nd of May
• Macrossan St, between Wharf St and Owen St.

• 6.00 am 21st of May, 2010 to 1.00 am 22nd of May 2010.
• Grant St, between Murphy St and Warner St

• 3.00 pm 21st of May, 2010 to 9.00 pm 21st of May 2010.
• Mowbray St, between grant and Owen St

• 4.00 pm 21st of May, 2010 to 1.00 am 22nd of May 2010.
• Wharf St, between Murphy St and Warner St

• 6.00 pm 21st of May, 2010 to 9.00 pm 21st of May 2010.
• Owen St. Between Murphy St and Mowbray St

• 6.00 pm 21st of May, 2010 to 9.00 pm 21st of May 2010.
• Warner St, between Owen St and Wharf St

• 6.00 pm 21st of May, 2010 to 9.00 pm 21st of May 2010.

These roads will be closed for the holding of the 2010 Carnivale Street Parade.

Road Closure – Carnivale Beach Day

Cairns Regional Council wishes to advise that the following road closure will occur for the 2010 Carnivale Beach Day

• 6.00 am 29th of May, 2009 to 2.00 pm 29th of May
• Macrossan St, between Garrick St and The Esplanade.

• 6.00 am 29th of May, 2009 to 2.00 pm 29th of May 2010.
• Mowbray St. Between Garrick St and The Esplanade.

Access will only be for Emergency Service Vehicles during this period.

These road closures are necessary to provide for the safety of all participants.  Council regrets any inconvenience that may result from these closures.
