Juzzie has been in port douglas for 15 years , a passion for electronic music for over 20 years started me playing here in port at mango jam back in the day and at various partys over the years , always for the love of the music and people , playing fat funky electro house and mashups.
From rock and hip hop to electro breaks n house, From the rain forest to the reef . Dj smoothe has always been a musical force in the far north. Having played nationally and internationally along side the industries elite this local lad is always ready to rock.
Sammy J has been DJing all over the world, holding many resident spots in Spain, playing in Barcelona, & the islands of Mallorca and Ibiza, where she regularly played at world known club ‘Pacha’. A residency for winter saw Sammy J in the Swiss Alps, along with gigs in Italy, UK, the South of France, and just now, Sammy is fresh home and feeling inspired from the house capital of the world, Miami! She has DJ’ed along side some amazing artists including, Jo Mills (CiroLoco Ibiza), Mr C (The End, UK), Nathan Coles (Fabric, UK), Warren Holt (Cream), Grant Smily (MOS), Total Science (UK), DJ Teebee (Norway), Carl Kennedy, DJ Sharkey (UK) Endorphin, Sub Bass Snarl, Nik Fish, Amber Savage, John & Pee Wee Ferris, Jason Midro, John Corse (MOS), Stafford Brothers (MOS) and not to mention all the amazing local talent! Sammy J’s diverse style of music progresses from funky, techy, & minimal styled house, & liquid funk to hard style Drum n Bass.
Hoopnatize and Lady Elle are not your typical Spinnsters. This dynamic duo is a high octane hoop troupe who get into a whirl of trouble whenever they’re together! For the last 12 years the zany Hoopnatize has been burning up the stage from Victoria to the San Francisco Bay with a background in Poi and fire twirling while the Loopy Lady Elle has been twirling about Japan for the last five years introducing the hoop to tiny tots from Okinawa to Hokkaido.
