Dynamic Running are proud to present the Douglas Dash as part of the 2025 Port Douglas Carnivale. A pure distance trail run, the Douglas Dash has a course that encapsulates all the magical beauty of the region. Starting at the Southern end of Four Mile Beach for the first 4 Kms then hitting the 1.5 km gut busting cross country terrain of the flagstaff trail and finishing at the stunning Rex Smeal Park this is a signature challenge like no other.
We’re looking for runners who accept the challenge to set a record time for others to chase each year, and set a pace for this new course. There is no more magical part of the world at the start time of 8am and the uninterrupted running experience on offer is world class, just check out the course map below and you’ll see what we mean. From the open expanse of the iconic 4 mile beach, up the tropical trail of the Flagstaff hill and finishing overlooking Mossman Gorge and Thorton’s peak, each step is postcard perfect and as beautiful as it is commanding.
Times will be recorded and bragging rights on the line.
All runners are welcome, so if you’re in town for the Carnivale please join us as we are an inclusive and supporting club for all ages and abilities.
