Port Douglas’ Radiant Life Festival is expected to attract hundreds of visitors over an exciting two days at the Port Douglas Sugar Wharf from 10am to 5pm on May 28-29.
The festival offers the chance to explore what it means to live a happy and healthy life, while celebrating Port Douglas’ tropical way of life with inspiring workshops, music, talks, markets and more.
Those attending will be able to stroll through the bazaar along the wharf offering all manner of health, wellbeing and alternative lifestyle products.
Guest speakers include Samantha Martin – ‘Bush Tukka Woman’, Venerable Rinchen – ‘Living and Dying Well, the Buddhist Perspective’ as well as Martina Hughes of Tantric Blossoming, Annie Clarke, who will speak on ‘Running on Empty: Avoiding Adrenal Fatigue, and Ray Thorpe, founder of the Happy Herb Company speaking on the benefits of herbs in daily life.
Festival goers will also be entertained with performances by Alice SpaceDoll, Formidable Vegetable Sound System, Mark Ridout, DJ Rizon and the amazing Dream State Circus.
Radiant Life Festival organiser Ella Shannon said workshops would include Qi Gong, yoga, aerial yoga, acro balance, dance, laughter yoga, sound healing and more.

Port Douglas Carnivale general manager Roy Weavers said the new, two-day Radiant Life health and wellbeing festival added to Carnivale’s strong ethos of enjoying life with fun, frivolity and fresh local produce.
“This is a fantastic new addition to the Carnivale event line-up and we are expecting good attendance over the two days,” he said.
