Despite the rain, Port Douglas Carnivale activities will continue tonight as planned, with additional cover provided for outdoor events.
The Asahi Port on A Fork Food, Music & Wine event will kick off at 5pm at Rex Smeil Park featuring signature local dishes and entertainment from Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows along with other performers including DJ Pierro, Giovannini Night Grooves and the Hillbilly Goats. VIP entrants will have tent access and additional coverage will be provided for general entry guests.
The Spiegeltent program is unaffected and will also continue as planned with the Kransky Sisters comedy act at 630pm, Cabaret Limbo at 830pm and sizzling burlesque and jazz show, Vamp & Burn, at 11pm.
